Founder & Creative Visionary
The passion for creating unforgettable experiences has been a part of Nolo’s life for as long as she can remember. From a very young age, she displayed a natural flair for planning, organisation, and creativity. At just 10 years old, Nolo took charge of planning her family’s annual holidays, managing every detail from hotel bookings to budgets, road stops, activities, and even restaurant recommendations. She would call hotels, request brochures to be mailed (a nostalgic nod to the pre-digital era), and meticulously craft family adventures that became cherished memories. This early love for planning laid the foundation for what would later become Enigma EXP
Professional Journey
With over ten years of experience in the corporate world, Nolo built a strong foundation in commercial operations, eventually specialising in finance. After earning a degree in Economics and Business Management, she took on various roles, gaining extensive experience and insight. Her expertise culminated in overseeing brand profitability for a leading luxury vehicle company across South Africa, SADC, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
While her career was rewarding, it was also demanding and high-pressure. In 2021, after the birth of her first son, Nolo realised her priorities had shifted. Returning to work after maternity leave, she found herself yearning to spend more time with her family instead of long hours behind a desk. With the support of her husband, she made the bold decision to step away from the corporate world and focus on her family.
In 2023, after welcoming her second son, Nolo began reflecting on what truly brought her joy and fulfilment. During this time, the spark of her childhood passion reignited. She realised that planning bespoke experiences—whether trips, dinner parties, or celebrations—was what she loved most. Inspired by her journey, she founded Enigma EXP to share her passion with others.
